Vegan marathon runner seeks sleeping place Saturday night in San Jose

A friend of mine (Harley Johnstone), a bicycle racer from Australia

currently touring the United States by bicycle, is going from

Berkeley to San Jose tomorrow (Saturday 10-27-2006) to run the

Silicon Valley Marathon on Sunday. He is a raw food vegan athlete,

member of Organic Athlete and a really nice guy. Currently he is

staying with me in Berkeley, but during his touring, mostly he has

been camping out, and planned to camp out in San Jose Saturday night

before the marathon. But I'm not sure it will be easy for him to

camp out there. I'm contacting this list in the hope that someone

might be able to give him a place to stay Saturday night. More

On Sunday he will need to get to the start of the Marathon, which

starts at 7AM at downtown San Jose on Almaden Blvd. near Park Ave.
