I just wanted to thank everyone for the generous response to my appeal

a couple weeks ago regarding donations for my upcoming volunteer

spay/neuter camp to Mexico through CWOB and AVAR. I received many

donations of everything from flea medicine to leashes and collars to

cat toys...the animals of Villa Humada are in for a real treat. I

appreciate the outpouring of support and I hope you will keep up to

date about the spay camps and other great work of CWOB and AVAR

through cwob.org. Each trip they usually bring back 25-35 small dogs

to adopt out through Marin Humane Society, Small Dog Rescue, and other

rescue groups. So if you're thinking about adding to your family

anytime soon, please be on the lookout for the dogs through the bay

area rescue groups in a few weeks (after they've cleared quarantine up

at Animal Place).
