Celebrating Thanksgiving vegan-style

Hi folks

It has been a tradition with Bay Area Vegetarians to celebrate Thanksgiving vegan style in cities across the Bay Area. Someone may host a Vegan Food Party with a Thanksgiving theme, while someone else may choose to host a dinner at a restaurant. Or maybe it's not called Thanksgiving but Turkey Liberation Day.

Whatever you choose to call it, the intent is to provide an opportunity for like-minded folks to share this day with new and old friends while eating with compassion.

If you can make this happen, by volunteering to organize an event, this will be much appreciated by the community. It would be excellent to have an event in major areas, like SF, East Bay, South Bay, and Marin.

The event can happen on Thanksgiving day, or the weekend before, at a time/date of your choosing/convenience (after all, you're organizing!).

These events can be large or small, it's entirely up to you. ( Personally, I think some of the best events/conversations are with 6-8 people. ) So, if you are interested to host a vegan Thanksgiving event in your city, please email us with date/time and general event proposal.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,

Tammy & Chris
