Dear Bayleaf Café Patron,Time has come for us to close the BayLeaf Café.

Customer Appreciation Day Sunday : 11:30AM-6:00PMFREE BUFFET SUNDAY FOR ALL OUR WONDERFUL CUSTOMERS!!The last meal will be served this Sunday, October 15th. We had every intention to keep the café running. However, as every venture starts out with great inspiration and great hope, the reality sinks in slowly and the going gets tough. We did walk past the tough times many times in the last 4 and half years, but they never stopped. Thanks to the wonderful customers who kept our spirits up all these years. Over time, we realized that the list of reasons to close grew, but the list of reasons to continue to run stayed at 3 from day one. The were:

1) words of appreciation and sincere support of many customers and friends like you,2) to have a place where folks such as eco-conscious people and vegetarians as yourselves can get together and have good times. 3) to show that a satisfying meal that tastes good can be prepared simply.We learned many lessons in the process. We thank each one of you for coming to the café and experiencing good and tough times along with us. We thank all the employees for their understanding, dedication, and efforts to keep the café alive. We thank all of our close friends and family for their help in various ways to expose us to truly great experiences that life can offer. We did our best with whatever resources we had. We always wanted to do more but the resources started to dwindle and so the time has come to close.We know that this brings sadness to all of you. We would like to tell you that we *really* did our best to keep the café running and we wanted to do more but we just couldn't. We will be available to help if anyone is seriously considering starting a restaurant that is vegan and eco-friendly, and considers helping local farmers towards sustainable practices for our earth.
