Guest guest
I have not yet seen a Peets in the Bay Area that does not carry vegan scones. They are fat free, so can be dry if not fresh that day. I really like them, though, and look forward to having one each weekend. They're high fiber and healthy, as well as vegan, and they go great with a soy latte. Karen Doug wrote: " ...it can be fairly dry but at least they have it... Guest guest
I guess it just proves how personal a thing taste is that, personally, I think Peet's vegan scones are nasty . . . dry like a saltine, flavorless and entirely disappointing as scones. At the Petaluma Peet's they didn't label them vegan, fortunately, just fat free. I hope they keep it that way otherwise people will think they're bad because they're vegan (or have to be fat free to be vegan). Whole Foods on the other hand makes a yummy rich vegan scone (at least at their Sonoma County stores). Not nearly as healthy, I realize, but if I'm jonesing for a scone I've already set aside health as my primary goal so I'm OK with that. Guest guest
I like Peet's vegan scones best with fresh friut in season, with sliced peaches, plums or apples and a vegan drink, they are very tasty. Peet's also has vegan cookies. The baked goods are delivered daily. They are are also locally owned. lynn
