The Albany-based chain says it will no longer sell eggs from hens living in what it called " abusive battery cages. " The Humane Society is applauding the decision. The I-Team has done a series of reports about the cages and the impact on the health of chickens. Andronico's joins Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Ben & Jerry's and others which have made the move to only cage-free eggs.
