Guest guest
Has anyone seen Organic's organic soymilk? It is made by Lucerne foods(dairy producer)and contains TRICALCIUM PHOSPHATE. Tricalcium phosphate is a compound with formula Ca3(PO4)2. It is also known as calcium orthophosphate, tertiary calcium phosphate, tribasic calcium phosphate, or "bone ash" (calcium phosphate being one of the main combustion products of bone). It does not label as Vegan.I called Lucerne and spoke with a representative who was unable to tell me wether this is from animals. It can be rarely found naturally as a mineral in rocks such as in granitic pegmatite or some meteorites in which case it is called Whitlockite.I've noticed too a lot of the"veggie cheeses" like veggy slices label as lactose free but then fine label small print has some dairy derived ingredient.Again not labeled specifically vegan...Makes me wonder how many products are out their targeting the vegetarian market but are not really safe to eat.-nikki leeI offer understandingwherever I am standing;between reason, passion, balance.
