Guest guest
Hello BAV, If you have an hour or two to spare this Saturday, I would love your help. The organizers of the annual Treasure Island Festival have invited us to have a table with veg information, from 10-4 on beautiful Treasure Island. This is a very positive thing both because they invited us, and because this is the beginning of what will hopefully be an on-going relationship involving veg cooking classes and veg outreach to a new community. The day after this event (Sunday) is the World Farm Animals Day at the Peninsula Humane Society, so I need to do some shopping and cooking on Saturday. If you could relieve me from the Treasure Island Festival table for an hour or two it would be greatly appreciated! If you're sort of interested in speaking up for animals, but you're not sure, check out: http://goveg.com/effectiveAdvocacy.asp And then be sure and watch: http://www.petatv.com/tvpopup/Prefs.asp?video=meet_your_meat for a little extra motivation. Two hours of veg leafleting really makes a difference! Animals in slaughterhouses cannot speak up for themselves. They need us to do it for them. I'm traveling right now so I might be a little slow in responding to e-mails, but I will be checking 2-3 times a day. Thank you!
