Guest guest
Hello all, I'd just like to second Tammy's suggestion that more people participate in Vegan Outreach's Adopt A College program. (Learn more about how to particpiate here: http://www.veganhealth.org/colleges/howto). A particularly effective way to reach a lot of students in a small amount of time is to leaflet during class breaks, when students are more likely to be walking around. The other day at Mission College, I handed out 210 copies of " Even If You Like Meat " in just 40 minutes, in the time surrounding and during a class change. (You can determine when class breaks occur by analyzing the class schedule for a particular college. Class schedules are usually listed online.) Finally, I'd like to mimic Tammy's offer of company during leafleting. I'm located in the South Bay, and I travel all across the Bay Area to leaflet at colleges. If you'd like to join me, or if you want me to join you, please feel free to email me. I believe leafleting is one of the most effective forms of activism, and the more people we have working on it, the better.
