media contacts sought

Hello everyone --

 

We would like to compile an informal list of local (SF Bay Area)

media contacts who might be receptive to news about our group, our

goals, and information such as the local Veggie Guide. We'd also

like to be sure that the media knows about groups such as ours for

when they might want comment or expert insight on veg-related issues.

 

If you are a member of the local media, or know someone who is and

who might cover these kinds of topics, please email me offlist at:

karenelise with the writer/editor/reporter contact's name,

publication/freelance beat, location, email, and phone number if you

have it. Please use " veg media " in the subject line so I can spot it

and start to pull a database together. Please be assured that we

would not spam these contacts or pester them incessantly; they would

probably not hear from us more than four times a year.

 

Also, please send suggestions for local/community newspapers in the

SF Bay Area along with websites or other contact information -- these

smaller papers are often receptive to info such as our Veg Guide.
