"Come celebrate the three year anniversary of Bay Area Vegetarians' longest running same day, same time, same place dining out group! Still one of the finest vegan restaurants anywhere, and congenial, interesting people to share a meal with. "

 

I'd like to thank Bob for launching this monthly dinner for Bay Area Veg! It was the group's first monthly dinner, and an early influencer to adopting a pattern of having events on a set date/time every month.

 

"The New World dinners will be on hiatus after this month's meal, with the future to be discussed and determined at a later date. "

 

After 36 continuous months of hosting -- without any breaks, I believe -- I can understand how change is good. I hope there is sufficient interest and support to continue the East Bay events in some form or fashion.

 

Although we live in one of the most progressive areas in the country, I still find the monthly dinners to be very enjoyable occasions to just relax with like-minded folks.
