Letter campaign to ask Amazon.com to stop selling cockfighting magazines

Sharyn from Riverdale, sobsatz wrote to Amazon.com to protest the sale of cockfighting magazines on its website. Amazon.com replied that they do not censor the sale of publications, including material others might find objectionable. I suggest that people do what Sharyn did and write to Amazon.com to protest their stance. Letters should point out that Amazon.com is not just selling a magazine promoting an "objectionable" activity, but that cockfighting is a cruel and ILLEGAL activity.

 

Update: I wrote to Amazon.com about the cockfighting magazines yesterday and received a reply that was word-for-word the same boilerplate Sharyn received. However, I believe if Amazon.com received a goodly number of protests or felt the economic sting of a boycott they might reconsider profiting from animal cruelty on their site.
