Guest guest
I'm looking for a good spot in the east bay to get vegan pancakes. Not as much into the white flour and sugar version - preferably whole grain with nuts and fruits so I can make myself think I'm eating healthy. I searched the veg list archives and didn't find anything other than Fellini's brunch but they don't have pancakes. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Guest guest
Hello, Lance. You mentioned checking the archives. Another place to check is Bay Area Vegetarians Ultimate Guide, restaurant section: http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/index.htm?city=-1 & cat=1 Put in " vegan pancakes " and see if anything comes up. Guest guest
Karen suggested Lance try the Ultimate Guide to search for vegan pancakes in the East Bay. To save everyone else the bother of performing a fruitless search: The Ultimate Guide does not have any entries for this search. Apparently, though, Herbivore is opening a new store in the East Bay, & they serve vegan pancakes, although as I recall they're not the noticeably "healthy" kind. Also, Manzanita serves a healthy vegan brunch in the East Bay (not sure about pancakes), and Fellini's vegan french toast & vegan benedict are both yummy. In SF, Cafe Lettus serves vegan pancakes.
