Short-term Home Needed for Foster Kitty -- Urgent

Hi all,

 

I am posting this for a friend of mine . . .

 

She needs a fairly immediate home for her 14 year old cat, Pywacket. The

background story

is that her ex-husband is refusing to keep the cat any more and is planning to

have him

euthanized, even though the cat is perfectly healthy. Pywacket is a sweet cat

whose worst

habit is opening all the kitchen cabinets! My friend is unable to take the cat

because people

in her current living situation are highly allergic to cats. Her son is willing

to take Pywacket,

but she cannot take the cat to him (in Eugene, OR) until mid to late July.

Pywacket definitely

has a loving home to go to, but needs somewhere to live for a month. I'd

happily take him if

I didn't already care for so many furry ones.

 

If you are able to provide a temporary home for Pywacket or know of someone who

can,

please email me immediately--this cat likely does not have more than a week of

clemency.

Oh, my friend will of course cover the cost of food, litter, etc.
