Roommate Wanted in Vegan Duplex

Hi,

 

I'm looking for a roommate to move in between August 13-September

1st--hopefully for a 1 year lease. Here are the details:

The place:

It's a two-bedroom, two-bath duplex in Mountain View, walking

distance to Caltrain, Castro restaurants, and the public library. The

common areas are fully furnished, but the bedroom is empty. We have

a big living room with a sliding glass door that opens out to a tin-

roof covered patio and a sunken-in den with a fireplace and two

sliding glass doors. It is the back unit in an L-Shaped building, so

there is a lot of privacy. We have wireless internet, washer and

dryer, clothesline, and a garden shed.

 

Me:

I'm a 28-year-old vegan law student, animal rights activist, and

feminist. I have 5 cats and a boyfriend who will be visiting every

couple of months for the weekend. I'm a non-smoker, and I rarely drink.

 

You:

Hopefully, if you're on this list, you are vegan or vegetarian, but

nearly vegan. You love animals, but don't have any (because of my 5

cats). You are a non-smoker--drinking doesn't matter. I hope that

you are also an activist and a feminist because that'll make our

lives so much easier. Gender doesn't matter.

 

Rent is approximately $800 a month, plus utilities, but that might be

negotiable.
