The Animal Place Volunteer Orientation:Jul y1st 12 noon-4:00pm in Vacaville

I attended The Animal Place Tour last month - it's a wonderful

animal sanctuary for abused farm and lab animals - and was amazed at

all they are doing for the animals! Please join me on Saturday,

July 1st, from noon to 4:00pm for an introduction to their volunteer

program. This orientation is required to join their Volunteer Work

Parties which they hold 3 times a month. Ages 18 and up can

volunteer.

 

A registration form is required and I'll be sending it to them on

Monday, June 19th, so please rsvp to me as soon as you can if you'd

like to attend. I will be driving from Menlo Park and have room for

3 to carpool. I also am in talks with the Mountain View Farmers

Market for veggie donations and already have a committment, at least

once, from Happy Boy Farms, near Watsonville. If anyone can

volunteer or knows a volunteer who lives near Watsonville and could

pick up produce during the week and drive it to Menlo Park, please

email me. I would like to coordinate delivery to The Animal Place

for July 1st, if possible. Thanks and hope to hear from you!
