**PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY**

Join Stanford University's Animal Rights on the Farm (ARF) and the Student

Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF) for a week of advocacy on behalf of the

hundred thousand animals used in experiments at Stanford. Events include

several protests (Monday, Thursday, Saturday), a talk by Steven Best, and a

film screening.

Details on all events are listed below.

Our central demands in this campaign are fairly modest: accountability for

animal welfare violations, transparency of the procedures and animals used,

shifting funds toward alternative models of research, and stopping some of

the most gruesome experiments, such as the cocaine addiction studies on

juvenile monkeys.

We are also unveiling a new petition, urging the administration to implement

some of these reforms. Please consider signing it.

If you have any questions, email me or arfstanford.

I hope to see you at these events.

potential of a total critique of exploitation.

Bring World Week to a close with a final plea for compassion at the RAF.
