Guest guest
What: Advocating for farm animals at a festival in a nature preserve When: Saturday, April 22 10am-3pm Where: 1900 Geng Rd, Palo Alto (off Embarcadero Rd. from US101) On Saturday I will be tabling on behalf of East Bay Animal Advocates at the 3rd annual Family Service Day in Palo Alto's Baylands Nature preserve. The festival will include food, live music, entertainment, games, and 30 local non- profit organizations. According to the event coordinator, more than 600 people may show up, including a large number of youth. I will be tabling at a booth about farm animal issues and vegetarianism, handing out a wide array of literature and vegan treats. This is my first time tabling, and it would be great to be joined by any other local activists. If you are interested in accompanying me or dropping by anytime between 10am and 3pm to help out, send me an email.
