Hey, all -

See the enclosed. I just got a call from Tara, who asked me to send

this invitation to other animal organizations. So far, I'm the only

animal/environmental group signed up. I've done three of these fairs,

and the kids (all high school age, from throughout northern California)

are VERY receptive. This is a great opportunity for outreach. Take

advantage. It's free, only half a day, and they provide a table and chairs.

There'll be a bunch of political groups, everything from the Communist

Party, the Republicans, the Democrats, to the Libertarians, Peace &

Freedom, the Greens and the Libertarians. Even the " Family Values

Coalition " was there last time. An intriguing mix, needless to say.

Give Tara a call and tell her I sent you. You won't be sorry.

Please forward to anyone else you think might be interested.

Cheers,

To Whom It May Concern::

We would like to invite you to participate in our annual Spring State Political Fair being held at the DoubleTree Hotel,

2050 Gateway Place in San Jose on Saturday, April 22nd, 2006. The Junior State of America is a non-partisan, non-profit, student-run organization committed to educating high school youth about government, law, and politics. Over one thousand students from all over northern California will attend, and with your presence, we look forward to widening the political possibilities of students.

The Political Fair offers an outstanding outreach opportunity for organizations representing a wide variety of political opinions and opportunities for activism and involvement. We invite you to set up a booth to promote your organization at no charge. We would greatly appreciate your participation at this event. The Fair will be held from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the ballroom foyer. You are welcome to come any time after 8:30 AM to set up. If you would like to stay afterward to view the convention, you are welcome. We will supply a table and two chairs.

General information about the Junior State of America is available on our website. We are extremely excited about this day and hope that your organization can be part of it. Please call David Beiser at 1-800-334-5353 to RSVP at the Junior State office with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Tara Chandra
