I am excited to announce our monthly Palo Alto Letter Writing Party with Bay

Area

Vegetarians. Over a savory meal, we will advocate for animals in letters to

businesses and

elected officials.

The focus will be on local issues. Undoubtedly, we live in one of the most

progressive

and veg-friendly areas in the United States. Yet it often seems that local

entities fall short

when it comes to responsible treatment of animals. On Saturday evening we will

consider a

range of important questions and fuse our power as local citizens and consumers

to

improve the lives of our many voiceless friends.

Novices, gurus, vegans, and non-vegetarians are all welcome. You should also

feel free

to bring any issues that you feel strongly about.
