Although Colgate supposedly has a " moratorium " on animal testing for personal care products, they definetely have not elimated animal testing, they use animal ingredients and they do test their flouride on animals. So, I will no longer buy Tom's of Maine now. Also, FYI, though I have always been happy that Body Shop has never tested on animals, they do use a lot of animal ingredients in their products. They are not a vegan company. Supposedly, with this new L'Oreal takover, they will continue to not test Body Shop products on animals, but I won't buy Body Shop now since my money will go to an unethical company like L'Oreal, which actually has bought out other companies that did not test on animals and now, according to PETA, do test on animals (like Redken). L'Oreal uses the clever little trick of saying they stopped animal testing in 1989, but I'm sure that means that they just contract other companies to do it for them. L' Oreal tests on animals and, I think, uses animal products. This is very disappointing news. Moya Messenger with Voice.
