Immediately following our vegan potluck dinner, Jill Nussinow, a

registered dietitian and author of The Veggie Queen: Vegetables Get

the Royal Treatment will speak about delicious, healthy eating with

the gifts from the earth. If you don't like vegetables, don't know

how to prepare them, or don't know how delicious they can be without

butter, this is a meeting you won't want to miss! Bring your

skeptical friends, too. Jill Nussinow is a terrific speaker, and her

book is a can't-miss guide for making what's good for you taste

irresistible. Books will be available for sale at the meeting

($19.95), so bring your checkbook.

 

Meet at the conference room at La Plaza office complex, 4340 Redwood

Highway, San Rafael. The cost is $2 - $5, sliding scale, and a dish

to share with eight others. Please bring your own plate and utensils

as well. We will collect canned food for the Marin Food Bank at

every meeting. Please bring a can of fruit or vegetables, beans or

Directions:

From 101 take the Freitas Parkway exit. On the East side of 101, go

North (left) on the frontage road, also called Redwood Highway. Go

1/2 mile past the light at Professional Parkway, and La Plaza

Conference Center is the second office complex on your right. Drive

to the far back of the conference center, behind the last buildings,

and look for the well lit conference room. We start promptly, so

please come a few minutes early.
