Join Bay Area Vegetarians this Saturday, March 18th, in Palo Alto as

we stand up against cruelty and spread the joy of living a veg*n life.

1) Monthly (3rd Saturday) demonstration against Kentucky Fried

Cruelty at KFC, 851 San Antonio Rd., Palo Alto, from noon until 1 pm.

Signs and leaflets will be provided, but you are always welcome to

bring your own. This corner location gets some foot traffic and LOTS

of cars driving by. Bring gloves-- your hands could get cold. Parking

is available on a strip that runs parallel to San Antonio.

2) Great American Meat Out at Lytton Plaza on University Avenue in

Palo Alto, from noon until 3 pm or so.

As part of this annual spring event, we will have a literature table

and leaflets to distribute. You can staff the table, hand out

leaflets, sign people up for BAV, share your personal experiences

living as a veg*n, or whatever you're comfortable with. Lytton Plaza

is adjacent to Pizza My Heart, or you may know it as being next to

the parking lot that's in back of Bay Leaf Cafe! For more

information, see meatout.org.

As events start at the same time, I plan to do KFC first and then

head over to Lytton Plaza.
