Great American Meatout this weekend

Hi everyone,

Please join me this Sunday from 2-4 at Powell and Market

Streets in SF to distribute information about the benefits of vegetarianism, in

honor of the annual Great American Meatout. This is scheduled so as not to

conflict with the outreach in Pacifica from 12 to 1

that Tammy and Chris are coordinating, so people can go to both! If people

would like, afterwards we can walk to nearby Golden Era for an early dinner to

celebrate our outreach.

 

We won’t be out there leafleting if it is raining

(people don’t take wet leaflets), so let’s hope for some nice

weather like today!

 

If you have never leafleted before, this is the perfect event

for you to come to! I’ll spend time with each person who attends to make

sure that they feel comfortable being out there. Leafleting is one of the best

ways you can reach potential vegetarians and really impact their lives, and the

lives of thousands of animals, in a short time.

 

Please let me know if you are even thinking about attending!

You can show up anytime.

 

On the current Bay Area Vegetarians calendar, it says that

we will be out on Saturday night with the TV. If you are interested in joining

us in showing factory farming footage either Friday or Saturday evening, please

let me know.
