Guest guest Posted March 6, 2006 Report Share Posted March 6, 2006 There has been a lot of interesting discussion on this subject recently, some saying only veg*ns should work in veg*n restaurants, others who disagree. I ran across an article in the 3/1 Marin Independent Journal, reprinted from the Oakland Tribune. It's about vegan cooking, complete with recipes. However, the part that caught my eye was the quote from Eric Tucker, chef at Millennium, who in the past was vegan, but now is not. Altho he eats a predominantly vegan diet, he says, " as a chef, I like to try other things. " He noted that neither he nor the restaurant " preach...that you have to be vegetarian to be healthy.
