Hello,

A few of us who attended the Erik Marcus event in San Jose last Friday night were inspired to do some leafletting of " Why Vegans " at colleges in the Southbay.

We'd really love to see the Southbay vegan community become more active in advocating for animals. Though I live in the Southbay, I go up to the City quite often because I love how active it is up there. It'd be great to see more of this in the Southbay.

We have set a tentative date of March 7th at De Anza College on Stevens Creek Blvd in Cupertino, for some leafletting during lunchtime.

If anyone is interested in joining on this day or if other days/times work for you, please let me know. We also talked about doing it in the evenings and/or at SJSU also.

I'll post another message soon, with more details, as this is just a tentative date and we haven't decided on a time yet. But I wanted to see if there was anyone else interested in the Southbay and what other ideas you all had as to how we can help animals and even more.

Thanks!

Melissa

(P.S. Sorry for those of you on multiple lists who are getting duplicate emails. I just wanted to put the word out to a lot of sources.)
