Guest guest
Our government is trying to pass a law that any person with a farm animal be required to place a chip in the animal at their own expense, so it can be tracked by GPS, or face large fines. Each person would also need to register their premises. Apparently, large commercial operations are exempt. It has already passed in Wisconsin and Oregon, so I've heard. And they're trying to pass it here very soon. It would be a burden to the average person, small farms, and to farm animal sanctuaries. It's also a bit Big Brother, in my humble opinion. Please write to your reps and oppose it. I like to use congress.org. More info is here: http://tinyurl.com/e57pt Thanks, Cheryl
