MONTREAL Rescuer Dying: Three-Legged Dog Desperate for home!!

A lifetime animal rescuer is hospitalized in the late stages of cancer.

There are several cats that need homes, but I am focusing on finding a

home

for her three-legged gorgeous and sweet Shepherd mix. He is very

affectionate.

" Tripod " is 8 or 9 years old and has no health issues. No arthritis or

the like; In fact he sometimes has to be stopped from running down the

stairs too fast!

Tripod gets along with other animals in the home but he is a bit

nervous around " stranger " dogs. He needs a solid dog-person with good

leadership skills to ensure that he gets proper socialization with new

dogs; this way he can go out for walks without his guardian worrying

about any altercations. (For now, a home with a fenced backyard would

be ideal.)

If I wasn't up three steep flights of stairs, I'd happily bring this
