Essay: Carbon Dioxide in Global Warming: Fact or Swindle? by Andrew Angus I. Introduction a. Carbon Dioxide Carbon Dioxide is a simple chemical made of one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms. This simple chemical is now so famous or notorious in the great global warming debate or climate change debate. Some environmentalists blame carbon dioxide for global climate changes. Some environmentalists reject the idea that carbon dioxide is responsible for climate changes. I, for one, reject the idea that carbon dioxide is responsible for climate changes. b. The Hype The media hype, the "Kyoto Protocol" hype, the Al Gore hype, the Hollywood-acclaimed movie, "An Inconvenient Truth", the "Live Earth" concert series and the

"Clinton Global Initiative" in 2007 are giving undue attention and persecution to carbon dioxide as the culprit for climate changes on planet earth. And who dares defy the Hollywood institution that wants their own version of the environmental issue? And who dares defy the brilliant scientists who lend their doctoral reputation to this environmental hype? II. Chemical Controversies A. Discovery of Carbon Dioxide The discovery of carbon dioxide is as controversial as its role in global warming. Some chemists attribute the discovery of carbon dioxide to an English scientist, Joseph Priestly while some chemists attribute the discovery of carbon dioxide to a Scottish scientist, Joseph Black. B. Cold

Fusion Controversy The "cold fusion" controversy in 1989 is now overshadowed by the "carbon global warming" controversy in 2007. Why are chemists and physicists so controversial these days? Why are environmentalists becoming so controversial these days? Chemists and physicists are so controversial nowadays because many political issues nowadays involve the help of chemistry and physics. Political issues like energy and global warming involve chemistry and physics. The most explosive controversy involving chemists happened in 1989 when chemists claimed that a new method of energy was discovered that violated principles of physics. This is known as the cold fusion controversy. I entered formally the cold fusion controversy in 1999 when I presented a

paper to the LANCE-sponsored neutron conference in September 1999 in New Mexico, USA. It was my first paper presentation in an international event held in Sta. Fe, New Mexico, USA. It was my first trip to the United States. My entrance to the cold fusion controversy in 1999 was already ten years too late since the cold fusion controversy started in 1989. The cold fusion controversy was a great and historic intellectual battle between chemists and physicists. So many egos of physicists and chemists were wounded....so many chemists were fired from their jobs....so many cold fusion scientists were blacklisted and placed under surveillance. C. CO2 Global Warming Controversy I am now entering a new chemical controversy ---- the carbon dioxide controversy in global warming....This new chemical controversy will be titanic battle between Andrew Angus's chemistry versus Albert Gore's chemistry. This time the "carbon dioxide-global warming issue" will be another intellectual battle between chemists and enviromentalists. The carbon dioxide controversy will be another historic, scientific battles in the history of ideas or history of

science. Is carbon dioxide really the enemy or friend of mankind? This is an important question that chemists, ecologists and environmentalists must answer. IV. Purpose of this Essay The purpose of this essay are many: a. To destroy the myths in global warming.. b. To destroy the lies in global warming issue. c. To introduce a scientific law that will settle once and for all, the carbon dioxide controversy... d. To save mankind from peddlers of lies like Albert Gore. V. Law of Endothermic Reaction a. Errors in Reasoning The main reasoning of the

Albert Gore's environmental movement is as follows: "Carbon dioxides absorbs heat energy, therefore, carbon dioxide causes global warming like in the greenhouse." Environmentalists give chemical proof that carbon dioxide absorbs heat energy. But where lies the error in the Gore's environmental movement? The error lies in the conclusion that carbon dioxide causes global warming due to carbon dioxide's ability to absorb heat energy. b. Correct Reasoning Here is my own interpretation in carbon dioxide's ability to absorb heat energy. The main reasoning in Andrew's environmental movement: "Carbon dioxide absorbs heat energy, therefore, carbon dioxide cools the planet earth! " What is my scientific proof? Very simple! The Law of Endothermic Reaction is my chemical or physical proof !!!! According to Andrew's "Law of Endothermic Reaction", in laymen's language: If a substance or reaction absorbs heat, then, the immediate surrounding becomes cool. There is no doubt that carbon dioxide absorbs heat energy. But the interpretation of the carbon dioxide's heat absorbing ability is what divides Albert Gore's environmental movement and Andrew Angus's environmental movement. VI. Conclusion Goodbye to the Kyoto Protocol !! Goodbye to Albert Gore's enviromental movement !!! Environmentalists, ecologists, politicians, chemists, physicists, economists, artists, etc. must welcome a new thinking in the environmental movement. Carbon dioxide is not the enemy of mankind. Carbon dioxide does not cause global warming and climate changes. Carbon dioxide is a friend of mankind because carbon dioxide cools the planet earth as revealed by the Law of Endothermic Reaction. Carbon dioxide in global warming is more of a swindle than a fact. It is more of a lie than truth. It is more of a product of erroneous reasoning.
