Canada: Stop Plans to Restrict Seal Hunt Observation

 

The Canadian government is trying to block observation of the seal hunt, and

we have very little time to stop it. The Department of Fisheries and Oceans

(DFO) is proposing unconstitutional changes to the Marine Mammal

Regulations -- amendments that would effectively block all independent

observation of the commercial seal hunt.

Japan: Protest the Mass Slaughter of Dolphins

 

Each year in a coastal town in Japan, thousands of dolphins are rounded up

and brutally killed for their meat or sold into the entertainment industry.

Advocates around the globe protested this annual slaughter as part of Japan
