Earthjustice [for Americans]

 

When the 1872 Mining Law was signed into law, the typical prospector worked

with a mule and a pick axe. Modern mines being governed by this antiquated

law, however, are adversely affecting ground and surface waters, wildlife,

and human health. The time for change is now! Tell Congress we need to

reform this outdated mining law today!
