Yes, Please - Republicans in the California Senate are at it again...the senators are trying to rollback one of California's bedrock environmental laws. The changes would remove the requirement for developers to assess and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from new developments and other projects under the California Environmental Quality Act! Crackdown in China - One of the country's most well-respected foreign publications, China Development Brief, was closed down this month for conducting so-called illegal surveys. According to Nick Young, the British founder of this publication, such a vague claim could include any conversation with a Chinese citizen.
