New bus route follows growth

 

BLOOMINGTON — A month from now, public buses in the Twin Cities will reach as

far east as Towanda Barnes Road in Bloomington.

 

“It’s a growing area, and there’s been a real interest in getting service

out there — with a lot of support from existing employers and new employers in

that area,†said Pete Weber, Bloomington-Normal Public Transit System general

manager.
