Dear friends,

 

The Canadian mining company Ascendant Copper Corporation has the intention

of selling $20 million of shares to continue financing its operations in

Ecuador. This company is basing this intention on false information.

Ascendant Copper's proposed project puts at risk the existence of several

communities that have energetically articulated their opposition to mining

and threatens a primary cloud forests area and one of earth's most important

regions of biodiversity.

Please, ask Canadian securities regulators to reject the Preliminary Short

Form Prospectus, and prevent Ascendant from selling shares on Canada's stock

exchanges.
