Misfit, my best friend and my kitty love, has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Apparently the "cancer started somewhere else and has now spread to his lung". He is also on insulin now, being diabetic. I know I can't stop the inevitable, he has now started an occasional dry coughing which I assume is related to his lung cancer - but if anyone can give me advice and/or suggestions to help him in any way, please let me know. I want to keep him as comfortable as long as I can. He has been with me, loving me so, and me him, for 15 years "thru thick and thin". I don't know what I'll do with him

gone - but I don't want to think about that now, just want as much quality time as we can now have together. Contact animalwarrior17. Thank you. Pat Patti Patricia Breen www.petstorecruelty.org

patricia, how is misfit doing?

i did write to you before, but i dont think it 'took'!

i am so deeply saddened for you that this is happening. but you love

misfit, and you KNOW what needs to be done, love, dont you? this

little soul depends on you, and you know that it is almost certainly

time to love misfit enough to let him go. animals do not understand

suffering, and pain. and it is our responsibility, heavy and

burdensome as it is, to understand this, and to love them so very

much that when the time comes, we can hold them safely and let them

go Home.

you know that your little one will wait for you. do you know rainbow

bridge? if you put that in google, you will find a wonderful site,

where you can read about it, and also make a memorial to your little

kitty.

have a giant hug, patricia. i do understand. i have been in your

situation, and it hurts so deeply.
