Wolves risk losing critical protections!

Please help us keep the majestic gray wolves of the Northern Rockies from

becoming another mortality statistic. Take action today!

The gray wolves of the Northern Rockies need your help now more than ever

before! This past February, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced

their intention to remove this wolf population from the federal list of

endangered and threatened wildlife--a move that would put these wolves at

risk!

The Northern Rockies gray wolves represent one of the biggest success

stories in U.S. history. With the help of the National Wildlife Federation,

they were re-introduced into Yellowstone National Park and central Idaho in

1995, and have since become an established population.

However, the wolf still faces too many threats (including unacceptable state

management plans) to justify removing it from the Endangered Species List at

this time.

Help keep the Northern Rockies gray wolves from sliding back toward the

brink of extinction. Take action today!

Together, we can flood the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with support for

keeping wolves listed--and PROTECTED--under the Endangered Species Act.

Please speak up immediately! The deadline for public comments is May 9,

2007.
