Tropical rainforest 'reserve' to be cleared, protesters shot dead

Uganda contains some of the last tropical rainforest left in Africa. The Mabira Rainforest Preserve, supposedly a protected area, has recently been sold to be cleared for a sugar crop. Protestors against this destruction have recently been shot dead by Ugandan Police.
