Guest guest
I wish to thank all who have already signed this petition. I downloaded and printed today. There were 1761 signatures at that point. Please keep this going and then when she gets to trial, I will download and send it again. This case has gotten a great deal of attention and Prosecutor Bill Hedrick is sure that he can get her the max. Unfortunately, the max is not much due to the lax OH laws. WE NEED TO GET THOSE LAWS CHANGED!! Anyone who has the spare time to write representatives, PLEASE do so!! We need better laws, stiffer penalties and more "companion animal laws" on the books. Also, due to the fact that OH is an agricultural state, the laws regarding livestock are from the Dark Ages at best. If you have time and can prepare a form letter, please do so. We need changes made in this state to protect all animals. Please forward this petition to anyone you can think of, I want to double the number of signatures on it by the time this woman sees a jury trial!! Thank you all for signing and passing on this petition to get this Murderer Maureen McLaughlin the maximum penalty available under OH Laws. http://www.gopetition.com/online/11506.html Yours in rescue, Joanie Stambaugh West Portsmouth, OH TV dinner still cooling?Check out "Tonight's Picks" on TV.
