VERY URGENT!! Need Sick-Puppy Stories About Fairfax, VA, Petland NOW!

PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY TO ANIMAL-FRIENDLY INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS, ESPECIALLY IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA! Two reporters for the DC Examiner are working on a story about the Petland located in Fairfax, Virginia. This is our BEST opportunity to expose the unethical treatment of animals by this store, which sells puppy mill puppies and other animals. Their focus for part of the story is SICK PUPPIES SOLD AT THE FAIRFAX PETLAND. They have already spoken to a number of contacts, but they want MORE, and we urgently need your help. Your name does NOT have to appear in the newspaper. Please contact me immediately at 703-642-8367 or holly if you are willing to speak to a reporter about any of the following: 1) You purchased a sick puppy at the Fairfax Petland. 2) You know someone (friend, neighbor, relative, coworker, etc.) who purchased a sick puppy there. 3) You work at a vet’s office and have seen at least one sick puppy (or grown dog with hereditary defects) from the Fairfax Petland. 4) Your vet or a person at your vet’s office has told you about sick puppies from the Fairfax Petland. If you were told that your vet refused to work for Petland, let us know. 5) You believe your vet would be willing to talk to a reporter about sick puppies from the Fairfax Petland. Anonymously is fine. 5) You are involved with a shelter or rescue group that has taken in sick Petland dogs (doesn’t have to be puppies). 6) You have visited the Fairfax Petland and seen puppies who looked sick there. Try to remember the approximate date. This includes people who have come to protests and popped in for a look! 7) You or someone you know worked at the Fairfax Petland and will speak about sick puppies there.
