Need Stories Of Independence MO Shelter ASAP!!

Kendra Albert Feb 22, 2007 6:30 PM PLEASE CROSSPOST I and a few other people are meeting Tues. with the City Manager, a city council member and some shelter staff regarding the horrible conditions and

care of the animals in the Indep. Mo shelter. I know many of you have had problems working with this shelter. I am asking anyone who would like to share their stories to please email me a brief rundown of your experiences/ experiences. I will take these with me to the meeting on Tues. We plan to cover sick animals, lack of vet care, inadequate feeding and watering and poor customer service. I'm sure many of you saw the channel 41 news story tonight and the shelter manager said these accusations were false but then turned around and said rescue is rescue and if we know the animal is sick then we know what we are getting. That is a complete contradiction. How can she claim animals are not sick then turn around and say if we pull animals we know are sick that we knew what we were getting into. Please take a few minutes to compile your experience and send it back to me. THIS IS OUR LAST CHANCE TO GET CHANGE MADE IN THAT SHELTER. Hopefully considering the bad
