Guest guest
Recently there was an issue with the Brookhaven Animal shelter in Brookhaven, NY where rescue people were trying to go in and rescue a golden retriever. Ultimately, the Animal shelter did not tell the truth and ended up euthanizing the golden, where they said they would hold it for evaluation. Here is the link for the Newsday article regarding this issue: http://www.newsday.com/news/local/longisland/ny-lidog0103,0,7385002.story A petition was started about a week regarding this issue. We already have over 900 signatures, however, this alone is not enough. We need to find more people who have directly had problems with dealing with the Brookhaven Animal shelter, who are willing to share their stories. We need people who would be willing to speak out. Here is the link for the petition against the Brookhaven animal shelter: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/654035909 Also, the Brookhaven Animal shelter recently posted a petition against this petition telling people to STOP signing the petition against the shelter and to STOP asking for a reform. We are trying to find any animal activists who would be willing to assist us with this petition and to help support the reform of the Brookhaven Animal shelter. We are also trying to find people who would be willing to be a spokesperson for this issue. Do you know of anyone who could help? Do you know of any Animal activist groups in New York or Long Island? Along with the petition, we need actual people who can help support the much needed reform of the shelter. Feel free to forward this email or the links to others for further support. Please respond back. Thanks! Tina P. Looking for earth-friendly autos? Browse Top Cars by "Green Rating" at Autos' Green Center.
