American Dream Home or Native Nightmare?RAN activists in Seattle and Los Angeles continue to pressure Weyerhaeuser homebuilding subsidiaries linked to the conflict in Grassy Narrows. Quadrant Homes is using wood clearcut without consent from Grassy Narrows Traditional Territory to build tract home developments in the Seattle area. Activists from the Seattle Rainforest Action Group set up shop in front of a Quadrant home sales office, educating potential homebuyers that Quadrant homes are built from wood taken from indigenous land in endangered forests in Ontario.

Meanwhile, RAN activists in Los Angeles went door-to-door, talking to homeowners who were misled into buying what they thought were "green" houses from Pardee Homes. These homes were in fact built with wood bought from Weyerhaeuser and extracted from Grassy Narrows.
