[Cyber action] [Foie Gras] Left Bank Village receives a demo in Hereford

More foie gras has been found being served in the Herefordshire area so

activists decended on the Left Bank Village restaurant in Hereford

03.09.06 to educate customers and public about this vile delicacy.

 

Many leaflets were handed out and many positive conversations with the

public took place, all were supportive, infact this was the most

supported demo of the year so far!

 

A sheet banner reading 'This Restaurant Supports Extreme Animal Cruelty'

was dropped over the nearby river bridge in full view of all the

customers eating outside on the restaurant's patio.

 

This restaurant now knows the score - just drop diseased liver from the

menu!

 

Please politely inform the restaurants below of the disgusting methods

used to produce foie gras asking them to permanently cease to serve this

vile 'produce'.

I understand that your restaurant serves 'foie gras' which is a cruel

delicacy where geese and ducks are force fed up to three pounds of grain

a day until their livers swell up to ten times their normal size

becoming diseased then sold under the name foie gras.

 

A high percentage of these birds that live in factory farm conditions

abroad cannot even stand up properly after being force fed these huge

amounts of grain.

 

The practice of rearing geese and ducks for foie gras production is

outlawed in the UK.

 

Please look into the cruelty involved in producing foie gras using the
