Guest guest Posted August 4, 2006 Report Share Posted August 4, 2006 PETA recently learned that inspections of Covance's facilities in Denver, Pennsylvania, conducted in 2005 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) uncovered grave violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act, including failure to provide adequate veterinary care, failure to adequately house animals, and failure to correctly report the severity of animals' pain and distress in experiments.
