Dear Julie and all concerned; My reference is from Nature-2003; I have a prinout of listings of 30 articles per page and 15 pages; totals 450 articles>< I found this when looking up Mass Extinction Underway/ Biodiversity/Global Species Loss the path is http;//www.well.com/user/davidu/extinction.html I have a very difficult time being cheerful about the birth of newborns... It seems like to some people ignorance is bliss... Naturally I am not a wet blanket... however this is the first extinction caused solely by humans... If humanity does not treat this as a crisis and limit population, waste, and halt pollution wheter by mining oil, use of fossil fuel, nuclear plants reopening THERE IS NO FUTURE...FOR US FOR OUR CHILDREN AND FOR THEIR CHILDREN... I suggest a NO-BUY day OXFAM has a fast day event and to take action to keep

what we have and save the species. I'm not a great fan of the human species when it is not acting humane thanks for the listen-in tell me your suggestions too.
