I agree that we need more activists. The critics will always be

watching. Thought this might interest you all, it is a few days old

but I think there must be something strange and unnatural going on.

It is a very interesting whale sighting received from Interfish, a

Plymouth based fishing company. This was not a personal message but

one I acquired.

The sighting as follows:

 

You may be interested to hear some information I have received back

from one of our Skippers this morning following a sighting of Whale

activity in the English Channel yesterday afternoon.

 

Sighted

17th January 2006

 

Approx Pos.: 50-04-000N 4-36-000W

10 miles SW of Eddystone Light House (Plymouth)

 

3 Whales approx 60-70ft Overall.

 

Skipper could not identify them but they appeared to be Dark Grey in

colour (Possibly Blue Whales?)

 

Skippers Comments

 

" ..appeared to be feeding, we sighted them blowing and appearing to

release air while submerged, possible herding feed. This is the first

time I've seen anything like this in 30 years at sea! "
