On 15th December 2005 the British Government announced a twelve

week `public consultation period' to consider whether and how to kill

badgers. Part of this is a sham because farmers have already begun to

kill badgers without license. Farmers consider the badger the problem

in bovine bTB but there is scientific information that clearly points

to farming methods and moving cattle without testing as the real

culprit. There needs to be a massive public opposition to this cull.
