Need volunteers to care for birds seized from slaughterhouse

As a dog rescuer in Los Angeles and a recent volunteer for the BHLE -I wanted to

make a

plea for volunteers and donors to please help them!! They have been doing some

amazing

things and need public support. We all know that Los Angeles desperately needs a

group

like this! How many times have you heard of a horrible pet store or puppy mill

and wished

there was someone that could really DO SOMETHING for the animals there. The BHLE

is it.

But they are a non profit and rely on donations. They also need volunteers to

help with

feeding and caring for the hundreds of Quail confiscated from a horrible

slaughterhouse.

The location is about 45 minutes away from Los Angeles. I have gone there a few

times

this week and it is a beautiful place and the Quail are such little comedians-

you'll love

them! To see them take their first dust bath or spread their wings for the first

time in

their lives is a beautiful thing.
