Erin Wylie premeditated Dewey's death. She drove to Maine where her boyfriend was living, broke into the house to make it look as a robber breaking and entering, took little Dewey (a tiny dauchsund), put a sock over his head and threw him into a sack along with a few tools and left the premises. By the time Erin had drove to NH with Dewey in this bag, he was already dealing with massive brain contusions due to the impact of the tools in the bag with him. Dewey was already suffering at this point immensely. But it doesn't stop there. Erin Wylie and her best friend decided to take the dachshund and drown him in the tub. The two then allegedly drove back to Maine to leave the bloody, lifeless dog in the yard for her boyfriend to find. She thought she could get away with it. She thought that she had set it up perfectly to look as if it was a break in by a robber. She was right...in Maine that is. Although Erin Wylie is getting prosecuted in NH for not only breaking and entering, but animal cruelty as well...she is, however, only getting charged for B & E in the state of Maine. The state of Maine does not regard animal cruelty as a criminal complaint like we do in MA, NH, NY, etc. The district attorney has declared that he will NOT charge Erin Weylie for any animal cruelty charges what so ever. I'm here writing you this email to ask for your help....to ask you to make one quick phone call, to leave one quick message on this DA's voicemail letting him know how you feel. We need to let the DA know how strongly we believe in animal cruelty rights. Erin Weylie getting charged in NH simply is not enough...this whole case started in Maine...the kidnapping, the torture and then the conclusion. Dewey was left lifeless in the front yard of his owners house, abused..... The District Attorney of York, Maine, Mark Lawrence, is being held responsible for this decision to withhold any charges of cruelty or abuse....he thinks there is no need to charge her with it. Our voices in rescue may be able to change that! The case in Maine starts this week so let's get on the phone and call! The number to Mark Lawrence's voicemail is: (207) 324-8001. Let's do this guys...let's get Justice for Dewey and make sure Erin Weylie gets what she deserves in the court of law! --- -------------------------------- Leigha PomPosse Rescue
