Legislator Blocks Horse Slaughter Ban-Your Calls NeededUS Rep. Bob Goodlatte of Virginia, Chair of the House Agriculture Committee, is the only person blocking The Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (HR 857) from coming to a vote on the House floor. This humane legislation would ban the slaughter of horses in the United States and their export for slaughter to foreign countries.

Time is running out, and this bill must come to the floor immediately. Please contact Rep. Goodlatte today, and urge him to release HR 857 from his committee.
